I am facing an authorisation problem in CRM 7 with Interactive Reporting for Opportunities. My understanding is that the authorisation concept for Interactive Reporting works on the Organisation Model in terms of the data that is returned in the report.
I have a requirement where I need to be able to define for certain groups of people a level of authorisation of data that is displayed in the report.
For example, some users should have access to all data and some should only have access to specific sales organisations. To remodel the org structure would be incredibly difficult at this point in time and would also mean creating a very complex model to get this to work for our defined user groups.
Is there any way of modifying influence the way the authorisation for Interactive Reporting works other than the Org Model?
Is there a BADI we can use or can we achieve this using PFCG auths somehow?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
