we are currently setting up two different sales organizations on one and the same tenant. The one business division has opted for one specific set of sales phases for opportunities, the other division for a slightly different set.
All sales phases have been created and I have set up 2 different sales cycles (one per division), but C4C will only allow me to assign one default sales cycle, while this will differ depending on what user (from a specific sales org) is creating the opportunity.
How can we correctly set this up?

In the standard functionality config we can assign only 1 default Sales Cycle per Org Unit Division.
Inorder to achieve your requirement, of dynamically assigning a different Sales Cycle depending on Org Unit Division, you could use 'Code List Restrictions' feature under Administrator WoC.
