HI Gurus,

In ISA Product catalog details page description field is there, here i am getting text with html tags.Issue is now we need to restrict html tags displaying in prdouct details page.

Due to decoding in SDN website i am removing the open tag for every html tag.

For Example: p>Recommended Application of Inks by Stock Type:</p>

ul>li>* Offset/Uncoated Stock - Use Basic Black, Basic Colors and Pronto</li>

li>* All Stocks (Coated and Uncoated) - Overcoat and Universal</li>

li>* Coated Stock Only - Supercoat</li>

li>* Offset/Uncoated Paper & Corrugate - Jet Black</li></ul>

I need to unicode above text to

<p>Recommended Application of Inks by Stock Type:</p>

<ul><li> Offset/Uncoated Stock - Use Basic Black, Basic Colors and Pronto</li>*

<li> All Stocks (Coated and Uncoated) - Overcoat and Universal</li>*

<li> Coated Stock Only - Supercoat</li>*

<li> Offset/Uncoated Paper & Corrugate - Jet Black</li></ul>*

Regards,

Anil.

The description text and the embedded html tags are all part of the Product description maintained in the backend system. COuld be it is CRM or if you have ECC, it is downloaded from there. If the customer (client) don't like it in Catalog screen, then they should think of removing it from the source.

If this is not liked by your client and you then try to [strip the HTML tags from the page using Java scipt|http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=howtoremovehtmltagusingjs].
