For ex.

         <sourceElement type="A" cardinality="one" qualifier="a">
             <modifiers optional="false" />
         </sourceElement>
         <targetElement type="B" cardinality="many" qualifier="b" collectiontype="set">
             <modifiers partof="true" />
         </targetElement>
     </relation>

I want to access attribute of B in advance search, in list view. and wizard?

Hi,

the following rules apply:

  • in the Editor Are and wizard references can be handled via multireference editors

  • in list view the "dot notation" is used (for example: <list-view:column qualifier="catalogVersion.catalog.name"/>)

  • in the Advanced Search it is not supported at all since (for Flexible Search) it would mean joins or sub-queries and in a generic solution is hard to implement in a performant way. A possible solution would be to change (add) specific search and type facades to support this case in specific situations (more on that here), nevertheless it is a medium-complexity task to accomplish.

Cheers, Wojtek
