we are implementing Incident and Problem management scenario using business roles"ITservicepro" and "ITservicereq", here when we created transaction type "ZITI" (i.e copy of standard transaction type "ITIN" ) and assigned Zdateprofile (A copy of standard date profile "IT0000000001") along with z action profile.
But when we open this Ztransaction "ZITI" in webui, we see date fields are "greyed out".
so we assigned standard dateprofile to this "ziti" with standard action profile still Date fields are "greyed out".
Then we again created simply Z copy of standard transaction type "ITIN" say "ZITC" and tried opening it in Webui again to our surprise still the problem persist "date fields are greyed out"
it is not happening with other transaction only with "ITIN" but when we open this standard transaction, there this standard date profile is working fine. we could see "current system date" there in fields.
we also created relevant "Z"item category, and checked date rules,types and duration, unable to figure out why it is behaving bizarre, just for this transaction.
Note:We are in sap CRM 7.0 webui SP 2 environment
Please help it is critical...
Did you check in the date profile if it is checked marked for only Display mode in the Screen Area: Date under Date Type?? If so, then uncheck it.
If that is not the case, try assigning a date rule to the date type and try adding the start date of standard date type to that date profile.
I think this should solve the problem.
