Component in Install base

Hi Forum,

Is there a way by which, if I put a component in the Service order Header, all the sub-objects of that component in install base can be shown/appear automatically in the object tab in the transactions tab of service order.

Right now I can only see the component in the objects tab but not the subcomponents. Is there any specific reason for this or is this standard?

Hi ,

It is the standard behavior. You don't get to see the subcomponents of the Ibase component added in the Fast entry Screen. In order to achieve the same you will have to use BADIs.

Hi Shalini,

It is not the fast entry screen but what I meant to say is that once I manually add the component name in fast entry tab, I am not able to see the subcomponents in the Transation data tab > objects tab in service order.

In case if you could provide the badi name it would be fine, I could not find one for this specific requirement in Spro > crm >mater data > IB.

Hi,

Use BADI CRM_REFOBJ_BADI. You may have to update buffer using FM CRM_REFOBJ_MAINTAIN_OW.
