We’re pleased to announce that SAP Customer Checkout 2.0 Feature Pack 14 has been released on October 19th, 2022.

This new Feature Pack 14 has a lot of enhancements on existing functionalities and new features in SAP Customer Checkout and SAP Customer Checkout manager are included.

The following enhancements are the main highlights of the new feature pack:

  • Tax Calculation with Avalara for the United States of America (USA)

    • New communication system for Avalara Tax Service available to integrate Avalara into SAP Customer Checkout manager

    • New outbound services available for address validation, list retrieval, receipt, and tax calculation with Avalara Tax Service

    • Tax calculation with Avalara during the sales process in the POS system

    • Add tax exemptions on receipt and item level in the POS system

    • Enter shipment information

  • Unit of Measure (UoM) Conversions

    • New UoM Conversions tab available in the Articles app of SAP Customer Checkout manager to manage conversions between different unit of measures per article

    • Possibility to sell articles of different unit of measures without maintaining prices per unit of measure

    • Handle barcodes for unit of measure for articles

  • Certificate-Based Authentication

    • Using certificates to authenticate from SAP Customer Checkout to SAP Customer Checkout manager and SAP Customer Checkout manager to External SAP and non-SAP systems.

    • New Certificates app available to manage all certificates, sync with keystore and upload keystores

  • Critical alert and monitoring enhancements to show change logs for sequence numbers, sequence number consumers, mobile payment, and self-checkout

  • Optimized UI and detailed view of apps in SAP Customer Checkout manager

  • Enhancements in Table Service

    • New quick selection function button for course batch selection

    • New configuration setting to always show course column

    • Possibility to sort table areas

    • Copy receipt quick selection function button

    • Show name of cashier/ serving staff in table overview

    • Show name of cashier/ serving staff when changing table owner

  • Enhancements in Mobile Order

    • New configuration settings for Mobile Order pickup-IDs

    • Allow scanning of pickup IDs in the Sales screen

    • Retrigger delivery printouts for Mobile Orders

  • Enhancements in Table Order

    • Enter tip amount for mobile payments

  • Gift cards

    • Possibility to create “Day budget” gift cards which can be provided to users or employees to buy meals and snacks

    • New permission available to accept usage of free gift cards

    • New job available to apply target amount to gift cards

  • New Master data configuration app available to view and maintain maximum payload and queue size for the types material, customer, gift card, and server user

  • New Master data processing overview app available to view the processing status and history of inserted, updated, and deleted materials, customers, gift cards, and server users

  • Separate permission to give discounts on header and item level

  • New configuration setting to forward receipt immediately or later in the Communication arrangements app

  • New configuration setting available for maximum item and payment value in the Sales screen in SAP Customer Checkout

  • Possibility to enter tip amount for payments on invoice
