XML file conversion issue

Hi All,

I am facing one issue while converting XSD file into XML in Excel.

Below is the screen shot while i am dragging the structure of my BO into excel:

the structure of my Bo is :

BO{

alternative key element A;

element B;

node BO1

{

element C;

element D;

}

node BO2

{

element E;

element F;

}

}

Can you please let me know if i am missing anything?

Hello Malkit,

As you have subnodes Excel would not be my first choice.

Did you tried it with MS VisualStudio as described in ?

Hello Malkit,

1. You have not enabled "mass List processing" option while creating your XML input service.

2. As Horst said, it is not very straight forward to upload records with Subnodes, you would need a helper/intermidiate BO to process such cases and it involves a bi of more coding.

That's not correct.

I doubt that MS Excel is not the best tool to build up the list.

The XML upload works very well with a deep-structured XML assumed the XML is well defined.
