The xcm tool kit has a bug in it.So first time you add application-j2ee-engine.xml it will remove it from deployment.Try to add application.j22-engine.xml once again to your meta-inf folder and redeploy it.It should solve the problem

This works, either copy and paste the known good source or just replace the file.

Hi,

I have the same problem after upgrading my local NWDI 04s installation to SP9.

Personally I have the impression that a misalignment of the JDI machine (being on application level SP4) and the NWDI on the latest SP can cause issues.

Can you let me know whether this suits your environment at the moment?

Regards,

Guy

1. Download the SDA file from sapmats:

https://sapmats-de.sap-ag.de/download/download.cgi?id=IJIVO5V2NBY9DXVZJBGIPYUWCRXQPO5PBM48PHMGM3PIL9...

(Please note. On 09.Oct.06, this link was modified. The initial link referenced an older version of this SDA file, which did not solve the problem)

(available for the next 100 days)

2. Deploy the SDA file using SDM/JSPM

3. Restart the J2EE Engine if not restarted automatically.

Hi All,

just for the records (most of us are by now aware of this), OSS note 979884 solves the problem. In short, apply the latest patch for the SAP J2EE ENGINE CORE 7.00 component.

The patch file is available from the SAP download centre

Support Packages and Patches > SAP NetWeaver > SAP NETWEAVER > SAP NETWEAVER 2004S > Entry by Component > Application Server Java > SAP J2EE ENGINE CORE 7.00 > #OS independent

The problem is due to a problem with XPath (see note 979883).

Cheers

Hi, Have you set the "customer.config.path.xcm.config.isa.sapmarkets.com" value pointing to the correct xcm folder in web.xml? This might not be it but good to check.

Hi,

I have got the ICSS_B2B.war file from the SAP and created my own project as ICSS_B2B_(custom name) .i have deployed the application using the NWDS deployemnt option which internally uses SDM.

when i visted the login page i got the following error.

Application error occurred during request processing.

Details: Error [javax.servlet.ServletException: Initialization of Extended Configuration Management failed.].

Exception id: [0014C265B007005B0000006100006A9700042E336C0AAD52]

when i visted the

link:http://pacdb2.avnet.com:50900/icss_b2b_avnet/admin/index.jsp

i got the main menu without links.

in the log files i got the following errors.

com.saplabs.sis.opt.ServletBase#Plain###(3131)Missing value for XCM configuration parameter 'cs.http.port'. A retry is scheduled in 30 seconds.[/Default]#

if you have any idea of why this thing happening, then help me to resolve the problem.

thanx

Hi,

Have you completed the necessary XCM configuration by going to http://<host>:<port>/b2b/admin/index.jsp and then XCM?
