XCM - Internet Sales / question about Administrator role.

Former Member

Hi experts, this is my question:

I need to create a user in order to edit the XCM Configuration for Internet Sales. But this user shouldn't access to the /useradmin (UME manager).

When I assign a user to the UME groups "Administrator", this action grants to user both permissions.

How can I delegated this actions in two roles?

Rol A: edit the XCM configuration for ISA

Rol B: manage the /useradmin, create user, roles, etc.

Is possible?

The landscape:

- Internet Sales 5.0 (whitout CRM !)

- SAP Netweaver 2004S - WAS Java 7.0 SP15

Any help will be welcomed.

thanks in advance.

regards.

See [SAP Note -1014383 - Read only user in the XCM and Administration area of ISA|https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/1014383] Though it explains how to add a readonly admin role, you can read through to understand the underlying application role.

All the /admin URL are secured with the default j2ee_admin role. Go and change them to a different name and maintain isaadmin role and assign technical team personnel to that role.

Ok, but this blog is about NWA and not for XCM - Isales.

The problem is the user only works if has Administrator group. With this role can access to XCM configuration, but the useradmin too. And the requirement is split the role.

any ideas?
