View TG in Excel Format

In Seg Builder, when i tried to view List of BP in target group in Excel format,it gives me a blank document on screen with tabs like format,sub1,sub2...etc buth no BP data in it.Whereas In grid layout i am able to view it.

Pl help me out in this issue.

Hello,

just to make it clear to me. You are using the Segment Bulder in SAP GUI for Windows? The Profile is opened and you've created a target group. You've made an right-click on the target group and choosen "Open target group". Now the content of this TG is displayed in an ALV Grid below the Workspace? Then you tried to export this list via the ALV Grid Export to Excel?

I created a target Group in same way as you have explained and when i Clk on View OPTION it can display all the BP in target group (on right click open TG)in ALV Grid format but when i press on VIEW tab to see the same in "Excel in place" .Excel sheet appears but there is no data in it. Bottom tabs where we normally see sheet1 , sheet 2 on normal excel spread sheet it gives me format/Header/pivot/sub1/sub2 and so on?

Can you help , do i need to do some settings and where ?

Hi,

i have the same problem in our system (CRM 4.0 SP 7, Office 2003). Have also searched OSS and found that there are some kown Problems with Office XP. But I think you sould open an OSS Message regarding this problem. Never the less you can use the Export to Excel. The export works fine on our system.
