Hello All ,

In my .htm of an table view i have this line of code .

displayMode           = "<%= controller->view_group_context->is_view_in_display_mode( controller ) %>"

1) So what is this "controller->view_group_context" exatly ? where the instance of this is created ?

2) Is this related to SET_VIEW_GROUP_CONTEXT method present in the view ?

Thanks and Regarfs,

Nikhil K

Hi

As name says...it is a varaible/attribute to control the group of views.

For example  ..if you club 4 views as a viewset and if you want make a single button control to edit all those as like Overview page of BP etc.....

we will set this variable .

this varaible instantiates at set_viewgroup_context method and  when you use View_group_context->set_view_editable(me)  or  set_view_editable(all)    the view or group of views will become editable.

Hi

Yes... as per my knowledge.

Please check code snippet

   IF lr_ent->is_locked( ) = abap_true.

     me->view_group_context->set_all_editable( ).

this you can see at CL_CRM_UIU_BT_H_OVWSET and method EH_ONEDIT...
