update status profile

Hi gurus,

There is a need to update our current status profile. Some of the user statuses are no longer needed while new ones should be added. Can I simply rename some of the user statuses together with their codes or do you suggest creating a totally new status profile? If I execute one of these options, will we still be able to access the historical transactions with these old user statuses?

HI,

I think you should copy the current status profile that you are using and make changes in the new status profile.

hi

i would advise u to copy the standard status profile and give there as nmany status u want and name them as u like,

and yeah using older statuses u can access the historical transaction

moving one step ahead if u want to control the status profile on ur screen of transaction like the status u want to show on the screen u can use
