turn off ant build notify-send / growl notifications

On Centos 6.5 when I execute ant from hybris 5.1.1 such as ant build, it creates a notify-send window with the message "Build has started", and subsequently "Build has finished" when the build is complete.

How do I turn that off? It is creating a notification for every single extension when I build in Ee, and it is getting in the way. I'd rather not have the notification at all.

I've looked through all the ant macros, and I can't find anything that seems to trigger it. Is it part of the platform code?

My suspicion was correct. The notifications are built in to the platform code, namely the implementations of de.hybris.bootstrap.osnotify.SystemTrayNotifier found in ybootstrap.jar. The hybris ant utility de.hybris.ant.util.SystemTrayBuildLogger calls to notify the begin and end of the build.

It's easy enough to modify the class file to only notify on error, or remove the notifications completely.
