T-CODE for creating Product hierachy and category

SAP MENU>MASTERDATA>PRODUCTS >MAINTAIN CATEGORIES AND HIERACHIES

Enter the data.Go to product maintenace and categorize your product by enetering and saving relevant hierachy and category in product categories.

SAP MENU>MASTER DATA>PRODUCTS >MAINTAIN PRODUCTS.

Enter your hierachy and category in a new line in the product catgories in the general data of your product.Release the data by pressing enter.The new line will be visible.

thankx for reply.iam working on solution manager.have found t-code for product hier and category.now iam stuck up with set types and attributes.plz suggest on this n am trying to create material product using my created category but system says category doesnt exist.

Let me explain you by stsep by step

1)Create Hierachies&Categories.

2)Create attributes

3)Create Set types

4)Assign attributes to set types

5)Assign set types to categories

6)Assign product master to hierachy/category data

COMM_ATTRSET>Maintain set types and categories.

Hi,

in transaction comm_hierarchy, select your hierarchy & click on the category.

Assign a product type in the tap category (like "material") and enter the settype on the tap "SetTypes".

--> then you should assign your product to the product category & the set type should be visible in the product transaction.

Select the hierarchy (double click on it after searching it)

change to "change mode"

click the button "new category"
