Dear expert
In SAP Gui, we used to ask our CRM end-user to run SU53 after having an authorization issue - so the helpdesk knew which authorization object was missing.
In CRM WebUI, the only way I know to fix an authorization issue is by creating an authorization trace (ST01) till I reproduce the error. But this cannot be done by end-users.
Is there something that end-users could do in WebUI if they have an authorization issue (like SU53 in SAP Gui)?
Thanks in advance
Stephanie
Hi,
No, there is nothing they can do similar to SU53. So you need to trace manually together with the user. Sometimes though the user will get an error messages in the Web UI regarding missing authorisations and then when clicking on detailed error description the relevant authorisation object is mentioned. But this is rarely the case.

Anders
