Dear all,

Does anyone know how you can sort the the values of a marketing attribute and save it in that order in SAP CRM 4.0?

Thanks a lot in advance.

Kind regards,

Norbert Hendriksen

Hi,

You can create filters for attributes.

To go about it, make sure your attributes are assigned to users. Create an attribute set for all your attributes.

In SAP Menu, create attribute lists by going to maintain datasources (click on create attribute lists)

Click on assign datasources, and then select your attribute set. Expland it and create filters.

Here you can also assign infosets and BW cubes.

Now you can open this attribute list in segment builder. It will be available with the filters.

Alternatively, you can also create filters after opening attribute list in seg builder. But attribute list has to be created.

Reward poiints if this helps.

Hi,

Thanks for your reply.

Is it also possible to sort values of a marketing attribute by the description of that value. Especially in transaction BP when assigning marketing attributes to a business partner?

Many thanks in advance.

Hi Norbert,

It'll be easier to answer, if you could explain what exactly is the task you have to do?

Hi Monica,

In the transaction BP one can assign marketing attributes to a business partner.

When doing so, you can use the F4 search menu in case of a set of predefined attribute values.

I would like to see those values on alphabetical order when assigning values to the attribute.

I have not found a way to get this done.

Regards,

Norbert

Yes. Suppose you have a Target Group that contains customers of all income ranges, but you want to make sure the agents contact the BPs with the highest incomes first. You would simply want to sort your target Group by income. Why is this not standard functionality? Very frustrating.
