Dear SAP, Dear SAP C4C Community,
we would like to send mass emails via SAP Cloud for Customer, for example for marketing campaigns. For this we would like to use a sender address of our company. As described in SAP Cloud for Customer one can add a corresponding domain to enable this. However a DKIM key has to be activitated in our DNS servers. For several reasons this is however impossible to do in our network.
We would rather use one of the following options:
1. Enable "SMTP-Auth" as another mass email distribution method. Our email servers use this standardized method for all kinds of external email systems and as far as I know SAP supports this in other systems.
2. Enable mass email distribution without DKIM key activiation
What is your opinion about this? What do you use?

Thank you.
Kind regards

Hi Peter,
Yes you are right for mass emails we support only DKIM Key. This is the most common way to support the mass email distribution.
Will it be possible to share the configuration issues that you have for DKIM Key.

Rakesh

Hello Rakesh,
thank you for your reply.
It's not configuration issues that we are having with the DKIM key. It's just that our IT department does not offer or allow the usage of a DKIM key as of now. Their preferred way is to use SMTP-Auth.
What is interesting to me is that SAP does offer this kind of mass email distribution in other SAP solutions (). Will this be available for C4C in the near future?
The other questions is: The C4C system does send out emails without the DKIM key, for example for notifications about tasks or incidents, either from its standard donotreply@myxxxx.crm.ondemand.com adress or from an alternative address specified by an administrator. Can this be made possible for mass email distribution, too?
Regards
Peter
