Can any one tell me what is a search help??

Hi,

You create/change/display it in SE11 transaction code.

click on dialog box, search help and select the appropriate action.

If you create/change or display search help, you can also test it from their itself.. using the execute option...

Hi,

You cannot configure search help, but yess you can develop it and can assign it to specific field, either in SE80 program, or Data dictionary table field, or data element in table.

Hi,

Search help is a help associated with any input field.

E.g. when you execute transaction BP and want to view specific BP, you cannot remember all the codes.. right.. and thus you need some thing to help you find the code there and then.. thus what you do is u press F4 and what you see is called search help.
