SAP Marketing: User roll permission to Export Definition in TG App

Hi everybody,

We are using a SAP Marketing 2020 tool, and we are experimenting problems with permission to some restricted final users.

When they enter to the Target Group application, they can't access to the Export Based on Export Definition page. They don't event see the following access button:

While admin users see it.

I would be very grateful If anyone could give us some advice in order to correct this problem.

I am just copying an excerpt of a raw documentation for SAP Marketing On-Premise 1909 version, which is the version which had a new authorization object introduced, which controls the availability of various export actions:

The new authorization object HPA_DWNLD (Authorization for Download) has been introduced. The authorization object HPA_DWNLD restrict download actions in different segmentation and target group apps. The following PFCG roles have been updated regarding this authorization object:

· SAP_CEI_ADT (Segmentation)

· SAP_CEI_TG_INI (Target Groups, Campaigns, Contacts and Corporate Accounts)

· SAP_CEI_BCR_SEG1_OP (Segmentation)

· SAP_CEI_TARGET_GROUPS (Target Groups)

The following download actions (HPA_DL_ACT) can be restricted depending on the given business object (HPA_OBJ) for which the download action is defined:

· BB_ATTRIBUTE_PREVIEW_EXP (Segmentation Building Block: Export Data from Attribute Preview)

· BB_CONTENT_PREVIEW_DISP (Segmentation Building Block: Display Data in Dynamic Content Preview)

· BB_CONTENT_PREVIEW_EXP (Segmentation Building Block: Export Data from Dynamic Content Preview)

· BB_DIAGNOSTICS_SQL_EXP (Segmentation Building Block: Export Diagnostics SQL)

· SM_ATTRIBUTE_PREVIEW_EXP (Segmentation Model: Export Data from Attribute Preview)

· SM_CONTENT_PREVIEW_DISP (Segmentation Model: Display Data in Dynamic Content Preview)

· SM_CONTENT_PREVIEW_EXP (Segmentation Model: Export Data from Dynamic Content Preview)

· SM_DIAGNOSTICS_SQL_EXP (Segmentation Model: Export Diagnostics SQL)

· TG_EXPORT_DEFINITION_EXP (Target Group Object Page: Export Member Data based on Export Definition)

· TG_MEMBER_LIST_EXP (Target Group Object Page: Export Member Data based on Member List)

If the download action is activated, the export option will be visible in the relevant context. If the download action is deselected, the export option will no longer be visible.

Some download actions are dependent on others. For example, on the Target Group Object Page, the value TG_MEMBER_LIST_EXP activates the entire export menu. The export based on export definition option (TG_EXPORT_DEFINITION_EXP) can only appear if both TG_MEMBER_LIST_EXP and TG_EXPORT_DEFINITION_EXP are activated.
