Hi Experts,

Can someone help me In getting breif idea about CRM Service by answering couple of Qs below

1. Where can we create CRM service ( WebIC, CRM online etc ) ?

2. Which are all the part of CRM service request ( like in Sales order we have header with created by time etc and items with products ) is it exaclty similar to Sales ?.

3. What are all the general technical developments / enhancements that clients do ?.

If you properly view Service a business sense, CRM Service helps to support the scenarios and processes in that area and has the following functionality:

  1. Service Sales & Marketing

  2. Service Contracts & Planning

  3. Installations & Maintenance

  4. Customer Service & Support

  5. Field Service Management

  6. Returns & Depot Repair

  7. Warranty & Claim Management

  8. Service Logistics & Finance

I will strongly reccommed you get through at least the CRM service overview before delving into any development etc.

To answer your questions:

1. Where can we create CRM service ( WebIC, CRM online etc ) ?

CRM Service transactions can be created in both places

2. Which are all the part of CRM service request ( like in Sales order we have header with created by time etc and items with products ) is it exaclty similar to Sales ?.

Technically CRM service request is a type of transaction (similar to order in sales)

3. What are all the general technical developments / enhancements that clients do ?

Very general question - if you understand the business processes and scenarios, you will know yourself
