Sales Contract in SAP C4C

Hi Experts,

We have been trying to find how sales contracts are created in SAP C4C. I have read a lot of posts but found that till now we can't create Sales Contracts. Service contracts can be created but Sales contracts can't. Can somebody please confirm if it is possible to create Sales Contracts and How can I do that? Please help with necessary processes and steps for the same.

Yes, it is part of Product backlog as was also stated in the Idea Forum. Currently no concrete information on the which release it will be considered.

Then what is the use of CONTRACTS tab in Customer screen? And how data in this tab and related fields are populated?

Hi Pragati,

UTILITIES industry solution was enabled in scoping. That is why you are able to see this screen and it refers to utility contracts. Utilities solution does not work in a standalone C4C and the data will be populated in an integrated (with ECC or CRM) solution only.

Please be assured that sales contracts (Quantity and Value)  functionality is not available as of now in SAP C4C.

Hi Pragati,

Sales contracts functionality is not available in SAP C4C including 1608 release. It is not on SAP's roadmap to provide this functionality in near future as well. This requirement is coming from so many clients and vendors but SAP's solution is to create Sales contracts in either in ECC or CRM as a follow-up to the replicated quote from C4C.

The only solution is either you go with custom development if it is immediate requireement or wait for a partner solution that may come up in near future.

Hi Pragati,

I just checked idea place of SAP C4C and looks like the idea of introducing sales contracts was recently accepted by SAP it seems.
