Hi experts, I tried to reverse populate an attribute with RegisterData(source) to CustomerModel(target), But ended up getting classcastException, Is there any way out?..Also kindly let me know, should we necessarily use CustomerData(xyzData) as source when (xyzModel)CustomerModel is target ?

Hi Jack,

Its not necessary to use particular naming convention for source and target.

I think , you should check the CustomerModel. The attribute might be different from what you have expected.

Say, you might be assigning a parent class to child class . Hence, such exception coming.

Hi Jack,

The reverse populators are used to populate data form data objects to model objects.
So, in your case, registerdata and customermodel are not compatible to each other. You need customerdata for reverse populator here.

Hi Sourav, I thank u for ur response..but I just wanna know are there any exceptional cases where-in the model and data are not of same name(like customerData and customerModel)?
