Product comparison in PCM cockpit in 6.4 ?

Hi guys,

in 6.4 the PCM cockpit becomes a part of the overall back-office, which continues the SAP initiative to align all cockpits under the backoffice framework and provide a single entry point for business people. The new change of the PCM cockpit is called Backoffice Product Content Management"https://help.hybris.com/6.4.0/hcd/6e3bcc78a0564909b22817c0fe1a624f.html"

After downloading 6.4 and playing a bit with the default features of the Backoffice Product Content Management, i could not find the comparison functionality. In the "old" PCM cockpit, this was a very prominent and useful feature.

Anyone knows what has happened to the product comparison feature in Backoffice Product Content Management?

Product comparison and workflows are not part of the Backoffice PCM Cockpit in 6.4; however, this functionality is in the roadmap, and tentatively scheduled for a future release.

Would the PCM cockpit be supported next to the Backoffice Product Content Management?

We just introduced product comparisons and workflows to our client, and now - i understand - it is not supported in the new cockpit. This brings us backwards towards convincing the client to use the OOTB features. Is this considered as a regression, or we can still use the "old" cockpit?

Product Cockpit on https://hostname:9002/productcockpit is still available and customer can use this solution. New Backoffice PCM is introduced in 6.4 as the first release and more enhancements are coming in new versions including product comparison and/or workflow.
