Orginasation Model

Hi Experts,

I am facing a problem with the org model.

As a business process we have CRM as the front end system and R/3 as the backend system.

There is a new sales organization and distribution channel created in our backend system.

I have created the same org model in CRM through transaction PPOMA_CRM and I have downloaded the distribution channel to CRM from R/3.

When I create a business partner in CRM i am not getting the newly created sales org in sales area tab.

Most interesting part is that if i assign the existing distribution channel and division to the newly created sale org- this is visible while creating a new customer in the sales area tab.

Kindly help how to solve this, points will be awarded

Hello,

Please carry out the following tasks in your system

1. Ensure that the "Object Permitted in determination" flag is set

within the attributes tab of the affected sales areas (transaction

PPOMA_CRM)

2. Execute transaction BUSP for the application object BUPA and select

'All screens'. Please refer to Note 389793 for further information.

3. Check that the buffering checkbox is flagged for 'sales' and

'service' scenario.

- SM34 : View Cluster Maintenance : Initial Screen

- View Cluster - T77OMATTR

- Flag the checkbox for SALES and SERVICE scenario

4. Then, execute report HRBCI_ATTRIBUTES_BUFFER_UPDATE

Please read the documentation attached to this report and request your

system administrator to schedule this report for execution on a

regular basis (if necessary every night) using the settings outlined

in the documentation.

Hi Sri,

Thank Q for your reply,

I have already executed all the process which you have asked me to do, But not getting the newly created sales org in sales area tab of BP.

I have executed the trnsaction CRMC_R3_ORG_GENERATE to generate the ORG Model but I can see the generatation goes to red, and CRM Sales Org is taken as 00000000 instead of 50003086.

Hi,

I have run the buffer update program and even I am not able to see the new sales area created in the BP.

I have noticed that when a customer is created in our backend system with the new sales area and flown to CRM the database table is getting updated correctly however we are not able to see the sales area in BP transaction.

Hi Experts,

Thanks for your help.

My problem is now solved, This was because there were no sufficient authorisations to assign the distribution channel to sales org.

Hi Swaroop,

It's always a better idea to generate the Organization Structure in SAP CRM from SAP ECC. There are a lot of difference in the both the Organization Structures.

Have a look at the following link for the major differences between them.

http://help.sap.com/saphelp_crm60/helpdata/en/6d/5c1738453fde16e10000009b38f8cf/frameset.htm

If you use SAP ECC as the backend in CRM, you need the sales structure from SAP ECC in order to transfer or create master data (for example, business partner, products, and conditions) in SAP CRM.

By copying the sales structure, you can ensure that the structures in the SAP ECC and SAP CRM correspond as far as possible. Corresponding sales structures are a prerequisite for being able to replicate sales documents to SAP ECC and exchange master data (for example, business partner and products) between systems.

For the complete process have a look at the following link:

http://help.sap.com/saphelp_crm60/helpdata/en/6d/5c1738453fde16e10000009b38f8cf/frameset.htm

The integration must be proper between the two systems for the data flow to happen properly.

Hope this will help.

Thanks,

Samantak.

Hi Swaroop

Has the "Obj.Permitted in Determination" box been checked in PPOMA_CRM for the new Org Units relevant attributes.
