Our requirement is such that we will need to link the Historic Emails (text or excel) to Complaints or Service Requests and we will have to upload emails from data file to SAP CRM system. This data has to be linked to the corresponding Complaints or Service Requests which needs to show up under the Transaction History Tab.

Am really not sure about the historic email's format which you have mentioned. But emails can be associated to request/complaint by creating inbound email activity [transaction type 004] . Programatically also associate the activity as a related transaction. This should bring the emails to the interaction history.
