Mixed-Mode attributes in standard BOL entity

Former Member

Hello,

I have a requirement to add value attributes in standard bol entity. I mean mixed mode attributes so that i can use both attributes in view configuration. I tried to add value attributes through wizard but its given error after attribute added to it, Later i tried to add manually by creating getter-setter methods for that value attributes, still same errors. Can any one tell me how to use mixed mode attributes. Any answers will be appreciate.

Regards,

Nizamuddin.

Hi,

I would suggest you to create separate context node of type value node instead of enhancing the standard one.

You can add the fields in view configuration.

I guess you have created an enhancement set and then you are trying to extend the standard objects. If not then you should actually do this.

You can do a right click on the Context Node you want to add the field(s) and then create a value node. You would have to generate get/set methods once you have added the fields.
