How the lead will generate to the Opportunity and what the use of Lead Group

And lead qualifications and also plz tell me the lead process

hi

based upon the qualification level of lead the opportunities are created

first of all the qualification level is the level according to which it is judged that whether this lead can be converted or not.

these can be judged automatically or manually both

lead group are the special group on the basis of which we categoirese the lead like VIP,new customers

then you process the leads in appropriate priority

3.1.6 Defining Follow-Up Activities for Leads

Procedure

1. To create the follow-up transaction Lead to Opportunity, the following customizing settings must be done:

Transaction code SPRO

IMG Menu Customer Relationship Management  Basic Functions  Partner Processing  Define Partner Determination Procedure

2. Highlight the following existing procedure:

00000004 Opportunities

3. Double-click the Partner Functions in Procedure on the left menu bar.

4. Highlight Sales Prospect (CRM) on the right-hand side and push the Details button.

5. In the Partner Determination screen, select Access Sequence 1000 – Preceding Document and save your entries.

6. Highlight the following existing procedure:

00000004 Opportunities

7. Select Partner Functions in Procedure on the left-hand menu bar.

8. Highlight Employee Responsible (CRM) and choose Details.

9. In the Partner Determination screen, select Access Sequence 0008 – Preceding Document  User
