Hello All,

I have created a warranty material in SAP CRM, I have also created the main object in installed base and assigned a subordinate object to it, under relationships of the subordiante object  I have assigned my warranty material, now when I am creating the service order in SAP CRM when   I enter the product id of the subordiante object and the customer the Ibase No is not getting determined, any inputs would be highly appreciated.

Kind Regards

Atul

Hi Atul

By entering the customer no and product ID sysetm will not automatically determine the Ibase.

You can write the custom code to  fetch the install base based on the  customer id and product id.

Hi Naresh,

Thanks for your reply, I tried the other way round I did do a search on my component, and to determine the component it asked the product id when I did input the same the component id got determined and the product id and install base got determined on its own,

When you say custom code for the same to appear automatically you mean the same can be achieved through development then please let me know if this is correct?
