Hybris setup for multiple projects

Hi

I am a beginner in Hybris and my question is very basic. I want to know if a single setup of Hybris (on a developer machine) can be used for multiple projects i.e. lets say a b2b_acc and b2c_acc, can we have both at the same time? Since all configurations happen in the same local_extensions.xml, will they override or conflict and cause any problems? Assume that both the b2b and b2c sites are for completely different customers. Even in this scenario can a developer machine work on both projects using the same Hybris setup in ee?

Hi SK,

Yes you can setup two projects at a time like one b2b and one b2c. Hybris will support this, but it will not support to have either 2 b2c or 2 b2c as they will conflict each other.

The developer can work on same ee for both projects as well.

Regards,

Raghavendra.

Is it possible to setup with Telco and B2B or B2C?

I started with the cuppy trail and also executed the ant initialize command. I got some extensions in the localextensions.xml file. Then I installed the b2b_acc recipe. On doing this, the extensions for cuppy got removed and replaced with the ones required by b2b_acc. So should I just manually add them in there? Also, since I had done ant initialize, both for cuppy and for b2b, will there be any conflicts?
