Hi All,

I have created a viewset with 3 views- search view, searchresult view(table view) and a tree view.

My requirement is, when i click a particular entity in searchresult view, then the tree view should display based on the entity i have selected in searchresult view.

For this I want to initialize the tree view at runtime. How it possible?

Can anybody help me? Please..

Thanks in advance,

Saju.

Hi,

You can look for the following methods in your viewset and redefine them according to your requirement:

1. DO_REPLACE_INITIAL_VIEW

2. WD_VIEW_INITIALIZE

Most probably first method will serve the purpose.

Hi Ajay,

Thank you very much for reply.

I have tried with the first method DO_REPLACE_INITIAL_VIEW, but the problem remains. it is not returning anything.

The second WD_VIEW_INITIALIZE is final method.

do u have any other option to do this?

Thanks & regards,

Vinod.

Hi Vinod,

I am not too sure but you can also look at LOAD_VIEW_4_VIEWAREA() method as well.

Ajay
