How to add new "tabs" and "properties" to Shop Management (non-CRM Shops)

Hi,

     We are having trouble in adding new tabs and properties to the Shop Management of R3 Shops specifically non-CRM shops, we're missing the ShopR3.xml file.

      Can anyone please provide a step by step process of adding these tabs and properties? Thank you in advance!

Hi Catherine,

ShopR3.xml is in the DC, one is crm~isa~web~shopadmin.

To add a new tab you need to add new screen group and add different property group to add fields inside tab.

     The ShopR3.xml is not in the crm~isa~web~shopadmin. Is it possible to have it copied from other shop with older version? would it have a lots of conflict because of the version gap?

Hi Catherine,

Did you check if you have ShopR3.xml file in DC isa~web~shopadmin~sap.com?. You should find it in folder WEB-INF / cfg.

If you don't see it, firstly please try to delete the project from NWDS and recreate it.

Secondly, I would have also tried to use new workspace for NWDS and try to create the shopadmin project there to see if current workspace area is not working as it should.

Yes, Catherine, even after resyncing and creating doesn't work, then you should try importing the standard one.

If you already have any custom changes, check with basis guys, they should be able to provide you with custom file as well.
