Help with BDT and with BPcustomizing

Hi gurus,

I'm trying to enhance BP transactio with a new tab.

In order to do it i used BDT but...the tab doesn't appears.

I also add the new data set created to the bp role...

Have anyone an idea?

Have you added the tab (in BDT term screen) to screen sequence bup001 in transaction BUS6?

thanks for your answer.

Yes, i've done all the steps for BDT through transaction BUPT and so on....

New dataset;

New Field Group with the custom fields for the new tab;

New View with the new field group inside assigned to the new dataset;

New Section assigned to the new view;

New Screen vith the new Section.

In Spro transaction we had assign the dataset to the Correct Role.

Whats Wrong?

Hi Diana,

Just check this.

The application you have mentioned in the transaction BUS3 for your view that should be assigned in transaction BUSD against the role in BP View->Calling Application.

Hi,

we need to create a Zapplication? because my Zview is assigned to BUP application ( my new tab will be show in general data view near the address tab).

Do u think that the problem can depends to the fact that we doesn't have already create the Function Module for 'before call screen callup' and 'Before Output' or the 'After Entry' one (we have that field empty)?

or the problem can be something into customizing?

Can i send you some system print screen?

no one suggest EEWB for add a new tab in BP transaction...what i've to do?

Diana,

I would suggest you use Tcode: EEWB. Its a wizard which is very easy ro use and self explanatory. Once you add a field using the EEWB it automatically creates a new tab called "Customer Fields" with the new fields in it.
