Hi Gurus

Now a days i am seeing mails regarding Functional module , i would like to what is the use of functional module in CRM and also if you have any step by step guide how to create this functional module

If i wanna to become CRM technical consultant what are the technical areas i should be confident enough

Kindly guide for this

Hi vinay,

I assume your an ABAP Consultant. In CRm also Fm are similar to Normal ABAP FM.

We use lot of BAPI's in CRM .

And areas in CRM :

BP

Product master coding

Sales Order creation

try to get more inputs on BADI's

Campagin in CRM

Ibase

If you have this much of ABAP knowledge I believe this shoudl be enough for you to start on CRM.

There are many other things but to start on this should be enough.

other things like:

BSP

IC web client etc....

Hi Vijay,

You can use the SAP Help to start understanding the mySAP CRM. This is the best place to give you enough idea on CRM.

As for the ABAP Concepts that governs the CRM, you can start from the same sap.help.com. You need to look at the Netweaver ABAP Development. This is the same features that is used by SAP in any application development. Once you will know the ABAP development objects, you can dig into CRM for more extensive information.
