Hi,

First you need to know how equipments are treated in CRM.

Please understand this logic

Equipments are pushed in CRM as individual objects

Individual objects require Object family and hence an object family (for eg. 0401) has to be assigned in CRM for equipments which are flowing from ECC to CRM

Equipments when come in CRM require an installed base to be created at the head of it and hence an installed base category eg EQ is assigned to it

To see the equipments data in CRM like serial number, material master etc, we need set types and attributes to be assigned to the Object family and it should be assigned to R3PRODUSTYP in tcode COMM_HIERARCHY.

After doing this for initial load of EQUIPMENT from ECC to CRM there is one master data object EQUIPMENT.

These basic logic is very important and also read the node of

Customer Relationship Management ® Master Data ® Installed Base ® Replication of Equipment from SAP ECC Customer Service (CS) ® Prerequisites and General Information for Equipment Replication

for detailed information and settings on EQUIPMENT download from CRM to ECC.

Mostt important is Read the PREREQUISITES for EQUIPMENT DOWNLOAD from ECC- an explaination note which is in this above node only.

Award points if useful.
