Email integration with groupware

Hello,

We have implemented groupware integration 10.30 outlook 2010 with SAP CRM EHP03.  At the moment we are able to see all emails present in the MS Outlook Inbox in SAP CRM Inbox. Also any email sent out from SAP CRM are getting replicated into MS Outlook Sent Folder.

But we are currently facing a couple of problems

1.       Any email sent out from MS Outlook are not replicating across into SAP CRM Email

2.       Unable to drag & drop an account in either MS Outlook or CRM

3.       In SAP once we select an email the functionality to Reply or Forward the email is not available.

This is an urgent requirement from our client and your valuable input will be very helpful.

Hi Kamlendra,

Please have a look on the article I had written long back. This might give you some insights as I had tried collating the issues we faced during a PoC on groupware integration and also steps on how to resolve the issues.

For point 1, I think you need to synchronize manually everytime you want sync to happen between both applications. (Not sure if the latest versions have started supporting auto-sync feature)

For point 2: I didnt understand the issue. please elaborate.

For point 3: Are you SAPConnect settings done correctly. Please check with your basis team. Have you completed the outbound Email set-up?

Also, plz do the one-to-one email settings and see if that helps.

thank you for your reply,

as per your link.. i have done all this setting,

I have done setting for one to one mail also and it is working fine,

for point 1.  it is automatic sync, but the thing is that it is not sync with outgoing mail from outlook to sap crm, means when i am sending a mail from out look then, I am not able to find the sent mail in sap crm in outgoing mail activity,

2. there is a functionality to drag and drop the mail molder with account or contact,please see this link ,http://wiki.scn.sap.com/wiki/display/CRM/Enhanced+E-Mail+Integration+-+Overview

3. i can see the incoming mail in sap crm email inbox , when i am opening that mail in sap crm there is no reply or forward button so that can reply that mail in sap crm system

Hello Kamlendra,

The link which you are referring to is not the standard One to One email integration available in SAP CRM.

1 & 2.As per the standard only Inbox view is allowed. You will have to manually move the sent folder mail to Inbox in order to transfer it to CRM. Email transfer is not automatic and its not related to Client groupware solution installed in the system

3. When you open mail from the Inbox view in CRM WebUI, the mail is just opened and only after you save it as an activity you will be able to reply or forward the mail. Unless and until the mail is saved as

activity it cannot be forwarded from WebUI

Hi Rajesh,

thanks for you input,

for outlook folders in sap crm, there is a config but for that SAP is charging extra and will not include in sap crm implementation.

i have done other way to find send mail from outlook in sap crm,
