Create employee without user

Hi all,

Is it possible to create an employee, without a user?

When we create opportunities, we want to extend the sales team with several employees. Some of them are involved in the opportunity, but do not have a C4C user (e.g. these employees do extended price calculations, what is happening outside SAP).

In our case, it is very useful to add those employees to the sales team of the opportunity.

Is there a possibility for this?

Regards,

Jasper

Hi,

Thanks for your replies.

The contacts of a partner are shown in the sales team of the opportunity.

So we are using this as a workaround.

Jasper

Hello Jasper,

If you create an employee in C4C, there will be a corresponding user for it in C4C.

If this does not fit the bill for you, you may try exploring the involved parties in an Opportunity, set up other employees as Partners & add them as the Involved Party under Opportunities.

this may not be the ideal solution but you can certainly give it a try & see if that helps.

Hi Jasper,

I dont think there is a way to put them in sales team unless you are willing to create user/employee BP. As soon as you add a name system checks for user id/ Bp Id details and if that is not found it will throw error. So again I dont think you can achieve it without that.

But their names can be put into Notes or so if you want your transaction to have a connection with them
