Configuring Customer Data Cloud Log Connector for a specific site

The Log Connector tool within the Administration area of the CDC console is not linked to a specific site or API key and the Datadog provider configuration requests an API key.

Questions:

Is there a possibility to configure it per site?

In the api key field of the Datadog third party provider configuration, do we use a CDC site api key or the provider's api key?

Log Connector is configured at partner level, and with the current OOTB offering, cannot be configured at site level.

The API key of the CDC site will be available in the payload when it arrives to the customer system.

The API key field configurable on selecting the Datadog third party provider is for configuring the third party provider's API key, NOT the CDC site API key.

Where the product is missing features or services that would assist with your business requirements, please open a feature request via the Craft Ideas portal. If you require credentials for the Ideas portal, please contact CDC Support via Launchpad with your S-User ID and those will be issued via email.
