Hi,
I have installed explorer 7.0 and I could not launch IC Webclient and later on came to know (SAP Note) that WebClient is not supported for explorer 7.0. I uninstall it and now I am on explorer 6.0 SP2 but WebClient still does not work. It loads the Toolbar on webclient and hangs on the "Loading....." with the blank screen. I found out another note 990763 but still trying to find out how to implement it (Technical issue).
Also, I found a "User Agent String Utility" from MIcrosoft website and thaught that will fis my problem but no luck. I am stuck and can not launch WebClient (I tried FireFox as well).
Any help would be really appreciated.
Thanks
Arif
I had the same problem.
After quite some debugging, I found that if I added thje following parameter to myu user, the problem was solved:
"IC_NO_DELTA_HANDLING" with value "X".
From that moment, my problem was solved and I could work with IC WebClient.

Hi,
I was able to fix this problem. Added my website in Security and Privacy area in Options in explorer. For other's benefit.

I had the same issue. After a deinstall of IE 7.0 it still didn't work so I did a restore in Windows XP. That solved my issue.
Best regards,
Pascal.

Sorry forgot to mentioned
"But still MS offers some utility:
http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ie/support/default.mspx
Just click on 4th Question and then on the last word "here". "
This Utility is called "User Agent String Utility" as I mentioned that I already downloaded and installed and tried with IE 6.0 or IE 7.0 but did not work.
Thanks
Arif

Thanks Alexander for your quick response,
As I mentioned in my posting that I have checked the note 981710 and it says that user should not use IE 7.0 it does not says how to fix it if someone have done unknowingly. FYI - I am not using SAP GUI. I am using brower for launcing IC WebClient (BSP application CRM_IC or IC_BASE).
As I also mentioned that I un-installed 7.0 and now on 6.0 SP2 (as before the 7.0 intallation, it was working fine on IE 6.0 SP2).
Thanks & regards,
Arif

Hi,
Microsoft says that you cannot use the SAP GUI with Internet Explorer 7. A fix for the issue will be available in patch level 20 of the SAP GUI for Windows 6.40 and patch level 64 for Windows 6.20
<a href="http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/ie/aa740486.aspx">http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/ie/aa740486.aspx</a>
Anybody has seen this fix?
But still MS offers some utility:
<a href="http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ie/support/default.mspx">http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ie/support/default.mspx</a>
Just click on 4th Question and then on the last word "<a href="http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkID=70356">here</a>".
And you can also look at this SAP note <a href="https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/981710">981710</a>.
It was released some days ago (27/10) and I think that new information will arrive soon!
Hope that you can wait a little.
With Best Regards,
Alexander Alyoshin
