C4C Server side integration with Exchange & MS Outlook 365 as Client

Hello, maybe someone has a suggestion how to solve this issue. We are running C4C and Outlook/Exchange for a while, but now we're trying to move over to Office 365, slowly. There is an issue with Outlook 365 client. The side panel doesn't show up in Outlook 365 client as it does in Outlook 2019. The Exchange server is still onPremise, OWA still works with the side panel.

Hi there, it's just a matter of windows policies and "O365 Connected Experience" which is typically locked here and registry parameters which were to adjust.

Finally you can use the manifest file in Exchange context to solve it, like we did, but I'm no exchange dude, so can't say exactly how it qwas done. There could be one point that could be critical, maybe we have to check the manifest version after updates.

Hi Uwe,

Did the users restart the process of installation within SAP Cloud for Customer within the user settings? Did they force a sync from their dashboard?

Did you open an email, press the 3 points at the right side and then click on SAP Cloud for Customer? The side bar should open now and you should be able to pin it.
