I am replicating business parnter, I get the the following error in bdoc
Sales area 3020 14 00 is not defined for customers
not sure where from it took this sales area.
secondly, if some are is missing it has to take from sample customer from table
TCRMBP_REFCUST
I tried to maintain this table by sm30( not allowing due to the fact it has to come from customizing)
what is the cutomizing node for this?
When I create Business partner in web, where is it choosing a particular sales(default)

Im not sure what you are exactly asking for so Im gonna guess some possible questions:
1) Are you trying to change the Sales Area info in CRM, since you said you dont know where the SO, DC, and Div are coming from?
- If so, go to BP --> Edit mode --> Sales Area Tab (will only show up if the BP Role is a SP) and specific the correct SO,DC, and Div.
2) Are you trying to view the replicated BP in R/3 from CRM?
- If so, did you specify which Sales Area from CRM corresponds to that in R/3?
Hopefully this helps!
Hi,
Via web when the BP gets created in "Consumer" role, it takes sales area data from 'reference business partner'.
Now, there are two cases
a) if your BP is created in category - person in CRM
i) when it is replicated to ECC, it will take data from reference BP in ECC
ii) it will be created as consumer in ECC
b) if your BP is created in category - organization in CRM
i) when it is replicated to ECC, it will have its' own sales area data.
ii) it will be created as customer in ECC
check
i) whether reference BP is maintained in CRM (crmc_bupa_consum) and ECC
ii) proper PIDE settings are maintained in ECC for BP replication.
Thanks,
Vipul Kumar
