Alerts in IC WebClient for CRM 5.0

Hi all

I am working on CRM 5.0. In IC WebClient I have made all the configuration for Alert Modeler. I created an Alert profile to which I have assigned a Reminder alert. This is configured for the event 'BPConfirmed'.

But in the CIC screen, when a bp gets confirmed, it gives me an error 'Failed to send alert message to browser'.

You must activate some services in transaction SICF.

There is a OSS note describing which services must be active in order to Alert Modeler work.

I have activeted the service SAM_NOTIFYING but still without effect. Bruno, can you give me the note no. where I can find the services which need to be activated?

You can check customer message 0000651830/2006

SAP support suggested to check the following notes:

Activate the service 'sam_notifying' and try it again.
