Adding a KUT Extention Field to the Data Workbench Migration Template

Hello all,

We have added a few KUT extention fields to the Ticket (Service Request) screen. We would like these fields to also be available in the Data Workbench object for Tickets (Service Requests) for our migration purposes.

But we do not see them there. Any pointers if there are some special configurations to be made for this?

Any pointers will be appreciated.

Hi Nikhil,

You have to extend these KUT fields to the correct service for them to be available. I'm not sure exactly which services you need to add it to to achieve the behaviour you want, but I can give you some pointers:

Select the KUT field in Adpation Mode

Click Change properties > Field Definition

Navigate to Services tab and select the Appropriate Service

You can also add it to the OData services in the OData Service tab on this screen. Hope this helps!

Thank you Cian. This issue is resolved by adding it to the OData through Field Definition.

Hi Nikhil,

In fact, Cian's answer is correct. The service you need to extend the KUT to, to have it available on DWB is the OData Service.

Doing so, the field should be available to be used.
