I have some confusions on below areas, Could you clarify any one

1. What is mean by Impex import through Service Layer Direct (SLD) and Global persistence mode ? which is faster ?

2. What happen when I set legacy mode is true and false in Impex import, which is the faster ?

IMHO, the comparison in terms of speed is not appropriate because the purpose for which SLD was introduced is not for speeding up the ImpEx import in a single machine. The purpose of SLD is to enable you to import large volumes of data using the power of the whole cluster.
