WCEM 1.0 Error during selection of module in WCB

Hello Team,

Good day!

I would like to seek for you expert opinion regarding my concern related to WCEM 1.0.

I am actually a BASIS resource and we are configuring WCEM 1.0 with CRM 7.01 as backend and MDM 7.1.

We have successfully deployed all the necessary components and we are now able to access the Web Channel Builder. But to no avail, we encounter an error everytime we add a Module on the configuration of our Web Channel Application.

ERROR 1:

Any points where we could start checking for the resolution of the error?

Hi Jarenz,

this could be an issue with the authorizations of the used users, probably with the technical (service) user.

Please check your destinations maitained for WCB, get the maintained user and verify whether this user has the needed aothorizaions. Additionally you can run an authorization trace in your backend system (transaction "ST01") to see whether some authorization checks fail while running WCB.

Good day!

Thanks for the reply.

Currently, i have assigned the technical user with SAP_ALL and SAP_NEW profile. I have also assigned the user with RFC roles as well as the technical role needed to execute any type of business scenario.

I will also try to check and enable the tracing.

Any other points to check?

Hi Jarenz,

(if not already happend) could you increase your log/trace level and check for additional details in the log/trace entries.

I'm assuming that you get some more hints in preview entries in the log file.
