Variant products do not arrive with photos in Marketing Cloud.

Hi teams

We are pushing products from SAP Commerce to SAP Marketing Cloud.

We have the particularity that in SAP Commerce Cloud there are generic products and variant products, part of the information that the generic product has is transferred to the variant product and in the web store the customer sees the variant product.

For example the images of the products. In Commerce, only the generic product has the image and it is passed to the variant product for display in the store.

The same does not happen with the migration of products to marketing, only the generic product has the photo, because in SAP commerce it has the photo.

But the variant product that belongs to a specific generic arrives without a photo, logically because the variant product does not have a photo.

Is it possible for the variant product photo to inherit the generic product photo?

Or is it mandatory for the variant product to also have in Commerce? If the answer is positive... what strategy have you used to make an email campaign with a variant product without a photo?

It occurs to me, in the email place the generic product and then the URL that redirects the product to the variant product of the store.

But it's tedious, because you may want to push the sale of a variant for a shirt with a different color than the color of the generic product.

The problem that arises is because the email campaigns would be carried out with the variant product and not with the generic one.
