User Access to Specific cronjobs

In Backoffice, I want to restrict specific cronjobs (RWCD) to specific users. I don't want to restrict the data accessible to the cronjob. I want to limit changes to and running now of the cronjob to a specific set of employees. Running 2005 upgrading to 2211. Thanks.

Hi donchaney

Neither Type System User Rights nor FlexibleSearch Search Restrictions will work here. In order to do this, you'll need apply a custom Backoffice configuration targeting the specific business roles to load a different set of either editor or list actions in Backoffice.

For more details on this, see Business Roles in Backoffice.

I don't think the feature you're looking for is in CX, but if you can convey the exact scenario you want, I can research to see if the desired functionality can be achieved. Additionally, it might require additional development.

Thanks!

We have a variety of cronjobs for various purposes maintained by different groups. It looks like one group deleted another group's critical cronjob. Was hoping I could do something like linux's -rwx- type group access.

Thanks for the quick response!

I had a similar error that I could not understand before. I was using MAC M2 and found out that it was caused by the processor. I came to the conclusion that you have the same problem. Despite everything, I am glad that you were able to solve the problem.
