Usage of multiple Org Strucutes at once

Hi all

For now we have only worked with a single Org Structure within C4C. Since I was not able to find anything in the documentation I was wondering if anyone could tell me if

1. Usage of two Org Structures is in general possible?
2. What might be cases in which this makes sense?
3. What are possible downsides when doing this?
4. Any info on Best Practices?

I am asking this question since we are at the beginning of a big new implementation with many countries to come.

You can define many modes without parent org unit. That means we can have more than one org trees. Pleaes see the chart below.
