Target group creation Issue using the excel addin.

Dear experts,

We are facing the below error, when we try to create target group using the excel addin functionality.

This error occurs only when the users with restricted access for target group (based on “Sales Organization of Employee”) is trying to create via excel addin. The admin users (no restriction) can able to create a new target group using excel upload. I believe this is because we are not having option to add sales org details in the excel and the system is validating the sales org details while creating the Target Group while creation.

Correct me if i am wrong here and please give the suggestions to over come this issue.

looking at error message it seems issue is related to access restriction. For analyzing the error message, we need to check that what data (Account, Contact, etc.) have been entered and what is the access rights for these data for user.

Hi Amit,

I am trying to upload the data (Account & Contact) for which the logged in user is already having access(means took the data from same user login).

As you mentioned, i think this is also go with authorisation access restriction, but not with account/ contact access. I restricted the access to target group(Based on sales org of employee). But in template we are not having option to enter sales Org details. (Even in direct creation, system is not allowing to save the target group with the if no sales org details is provided)...
