Hi Experts,
As per the Business requirement, we need to Integrate the Azure Email Services with SAP Marking Cloud. We have studied the multiple Blogs with Help.sap.com.
After that I have two questions to your all.
1) Can we integrate Email Services with out CPI/BTP. If yes can you please share any supporting document.
2) We have created the Communication System for Azure and Communication Arrangement also. We have got the doubt what be given as under Path.

Hi Hemanth,
There is no standard iFlow, since it is a generic interface. Customers can integrate with any ESP, which have different interfaces and API.
We cannot comment on any cost related questions. Contact your account manager or CSP for such questions.

Hi Martin,
We are thankful for your suggestions.
Can you please suggest, when this process needs to implement with CPI/BTP, do we have any Standard Iflow/Connector to implement this change.
Any Idea what will be the cost involved for each request hits from Azure to the CPI Iflow.? as we run multiple Campaigns from SMC both Automation and Trigger Based.

Hello Hemanth,
Thanks for your questions.
1) SAP Marketing Cloud offers 3 possible email service integrations as per the following documentation: https://help.sap.com/docs/SAP_MARKETING_CLOUD/0f9408e4921e4ba3bb4a7a1f75f837a7/6f794a96c82246919d061...
In your case, you would have to use the generic email interface using CPI/BTP.
2) The path corresponds to the remaining part of the URL without the hostname. See section named how to setting up a generic email and text message interface from the documentation link above for more details / examples.
Best regards,
Martin.

Hi Martin,
Thanks for the reply. First thing what is confirmed is Middleware is required between SMC and Email Service, but in Shared Link it was mention that Json format is not required any Middleware.
second I have initiated the setup, In which I have define the settings suggested in the document, when I have click on the "Connection Test" we are getting the following error "Direct connect to azure.microsoft.com/en-us/get-started/azure-portal:443 failed: NIEHOST_UNKNOWN(-2)" .
Can you please suggest what can be corrected in this.
Regards,
Hemanth.B
Hi Hemanth,
- Correct, it does not require any middleware but only if Azur supports the defined JSON interface natively which I doubt it does. Unfortunately I don't know Azur so I can't comment further on its compatibility.
- I suggest to test your url using any REST api tool such as Postman. If you get a successful ping (meaning the credentials are good and you have already an account with Azur) then you can go ahead with the configuration in SAP Marketing. The configured host in the communication system should be "azure.microsoft.com" only. The path configured into communication arrangement should be the remaining part of the URL. Usually the port 443 is added automatically by SAP between the hostname and the path. I see the port 443 added at the end of your URL so it indicates the hostname might not be configured properly.
Best regards,
Martin.
